According to GM Authority, the 2023 Chevy Colorado LT has been completely redesigned. Officially, Colorado will be redesigned in 2023 with a new exterior and interior. The spy photos we have seen of the truck are heavily camouflaged. We still have some clues. New LED headlights give the new Colorado LT a confident front. To give the vehicle a modern, advanced look, it could be equipped with projector beam bulbs.
The lights are horizontally arranged with LEDs at their top. The grille is covered with new lightning elements. A set of fog lamps are lower in the bumper. We know one thing for certain, this truck will illuminate the darkness. The spy photos show that the 2023 Chevy Colorado LT rides on 18-inch wheels with black machining. They are covered in Goodyear tires. These wheels were also seen on prototypes such as the Chevy Colorado WT. For a more sleek look and a smoother ride on the 31XX-2 platform, Colorado has new body panels. This is an updated version the GMT-31XX body-on-frame platform. It is expected to provide a more sporty ride and better handling on the pavement.
According to rumors, Colorado will get a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. This engine is found in the Chevy Silverado 1500 and produces 310 horsepower and 420 lb.ft of torque. Due to Colorado’s different weight and dimensions, it may provide a slightly different power output. The 2022 Chevy Colorado has a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 200 horsepower and 191 lbft of torque. Upgrade to the 3.6-liter V6 engine and get 308 horsepower and 275 lbft of torque. The 2.8-liter four-cylinder diesel engine produces 181 horsepower and 369 lbft of torque. The new engine will have more power. The diesel powertrain could be left behind. The gas powertrain will be paired with an automatic transmission of 10 speeds. In 2019, the manual transmission was discontinued.

The Colorado WT is the base Work Truck trim. The 2023 Chevy Colorado Limited should have more tech, including a larger touchscreen and additional safety features.
