2023 Ford Ranger Spotted – Ford has released some teasers about the 2023 Ranger but we haven’t seen the front of the truck.
2023 Ford Ranger Spotted Redesign
The international version will be based on the Maverick’s single-bar grille and flow into C-shaped headlights. These LED daytime running lamps are C-shaped, but it isn’t immediately clear if turn signals are integrated into their bars as on the Maverick.
The Ranger’s evolutionary lower bumper features a central air intake and fog lights. There isn’t much more to be seen, but previous teasers showed that the international variant would be available in SuperCab or SuperCrew configurations. It will also feature an evolutionary design and streamlined bodywork. A revised greenhouse will be added to the truck’s front, as well as new tailgates that incorporate a light into its handle.
The Ranger will be riding on an upgraded version the T6 platform, and available with a variety of engines. The US could have a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four cylinder with 300 horsepower (224 kW/ 304 PS), 325 lbft (441Nm) of torque, and a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 that produces 330 HP (246 kW/ 335 PS) or 415 lbft (563Nm) respectively. Ford is also developing a Ranger Raptor with a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6. It could produce around 400 horsepower (298 kW/ 406 PS).
