2023 Ford Ranger Tremor Truck – Recent testing of the new 2023 Ford Ranger was done alongside the Tremor model. Ford is clearly focusing on the mid-truck market from all angles. Ford announced some major innovations for this year, including the compact truck Maverick and the all-electric F-150 Lightning. Spy photographers captured a Ford Ranger prototype in Michigan while it was being tested. The new model is fresh looking and unfortunately, it’s wearing heavy camo. We noticed some changes to the front fascia. The Ranger is still the toughest truck and will ride on the T6 platform upgraded like the Bronco.
2023 Ford Ranger Redesign
The 2023 Ford Ranger spy is now less obscured than ever before. It gives us a good view of the front end. The new Ranger will follow in the footsteps of the F-150, first. The grille is almost identical and flanked by LED daytime running lights and vertical headlights. The spy shots also reveal that the truck will feature a similar sweeper-style rear suspension to the one used by the company on the F-150 Raptor. We expect the Ranger’s next generation to be more off-road. The prototype has the same rugged styling and is fitted with new 255/65 R18 Goodyear Wrangler Territories tires. The Tremor, which is pictured alongside, is equipped with 265/70 R17 General Grabber tires.
The cabin section of the 2023 Ford Ranger will likely not change. The 5-seater Ranger SuperCrew is the best choice. This model has more rear legroom and rear doors that allow for easy entry and exit. New midsize pickup trucks are available in XL, XLT, and Lariat trims. We recommend upgrading from the base XL trim level to an optional STX package which adds nicer materials to the cabin. The model comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen for infotainment and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration. The mid-level Ranger XLT comes with a Co-Pilot360 safety program that includes blind-spot monitoring and trailer-tow monitoring. It also features lane-keeping assistance, Wi-Fi, and front/rear parking sensors. The Lariat trim is the most expensive Ranger. This package includes leather upholstery, heated/power-adjustable front seats, push-button start, and so on.
Ford did not reveal details about the 2023 Ford Ranger’s engine. We expect that both models will share some engine options, given the fact that the new model will be riding on the T6 platform, like the Bronco. Many believe the EcoBoost four-cylinder will power the next Ranger, producing around 270 horsepower and 310 lbft of torque. We also expect a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 to produce 310 horsepower and 400 lbft of torque. Ranger Raptor, a variant of the Warthog’s 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 that produces up to 400 horsepower and 415 lbft of torque, is also in development.
2023 Ford Ranger Release Date and Price
Ford previously stated that the new-generation 2023 Ranger would debut in early next year. The upcoming model has been spotted being tested alongside the Ranger Tremor. The models look similar side-by-side, but the camouflaged prototype has more muscular bodywork. We assume that the cost of the new truck will be slightly more than it was before. The entry-level model is currently priced at $26,015, but Ranger Lariat 4x4s can go up to $46,000. This price is comparable to the Toyota Tacoma and Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon, and the redesigned Nissan Frontier.
