2023 GMC Hummer EV WTF – Some people might shout “WTF!” when they first feel the GMC Hummer EV’s extraordinary acceleration. Others may be just plain scared. We’ll get into the Hummer EV WTF mode in a moment, but first, let us give you some background.

2023 GMC Hummer EV WTF Review
Electric cars are extremely quick off the line, it’s not a secret. Tesla has established a reputation for proving that EVs outperform gas-powered cars in terms of acceleration off the line, and other brands are following their lead. Other automakers are also promoting acceleration as they work to bring innovative EVs to the market. It may not surprise people to see a Tesla Model S or Porsche Taycan, Tesla Model 3, or Ford Mustang Mach-E launch extremely quickly. However, this is not true for pickup trucks. The burly, gas-powered Ram TRX or Ford Raptor may be quick, but they won’t launch as fast as an electric truck.

Powertrain
The GMC Hummer Electric Vehicle – although it is extra-large and super heavy and as bulky as cars can get – can reach 60 mph in 3 seconds. Although it isn’t as fast as some other EVs it’s still incredibly quick for a vehicle this size. We can confirm that the Hummer EV has been out-tested on numerous occasions. While we don’t know if WTF Mode was activated, it is clear that we wanted to shout “WTF!” when the massive vehicle took off like no other. It was unbelievable.

2023 GMC Hummer EV WTF Launched
WTF mode on the Hummer EV is short for “Watts to Freedom”. It is essentially a launch mode that includes some party tricks. It’s Tesla Ludicrous, Tesla Plaid, or Tesla Plaid with extra tricks. Engaging WTF mode reduces the Hummer’s EV by a few inches, and then it sends around 1,000 horsepower to the wheels. The interior of the Hummer EV offers occupants a variety of sights and sounds.
