2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz N-Line – Hyundai Santa Cruz is a new addition to its lineup that appeals to young, adventurous buyers. Although the track was released this summer, it’s too early to know if it will be a success. However, Hyundai may offer other variants down the line if it is. The pickup would look great in Hyundai’s N Line trim. A new rendering video by SRK Designs, on YouTube, shows what the truck might look like.
Although the rendering gives the truck a subtle makeover, it transforms its appearance, giving it a sportier look. The N cars are softly colored by Hyundai to help sell the final product. There have been several modifications made to different parts of the vehicle like the front fascia. The truck’s rugged exterior has been diminished by the replacement of large portions of the black plastic.

For more colorful pieces, the black cladding around wheels and side skirts disappears. The pickup appears lower than the stock model, which gives it street-truck styling. This rendering also features N Line’s red accents in the front splitter, side skirts, grille, and wheels. Although a full-blown N variant is possible, the likelihood of it happening any time soon feels slim.
Although the Santa Cruz isn’t considered a truck by Hyundai, it looks like one to us. However, Hyundai may see Santa Cruz as a Hyundai model and give it the N Line treatment. The popularity of trucks of all sizes is still high. This could lead to a new era in small, performance-oriented pickups. The Santa Cruz truck is lowered by a little more than 300 horsepower (223 Kilowatts). The optional turbo 2.5-liter engine produces 281 HP (209 kW). This sounds like a great combination.
Ford’s new compact Maverick is a clear sign that it wants to appeal to traditional pickup buyers. The Maverick’s angular shape is a stark contrast to the Hyundai Santa Cruz’s sleek styling. Additional features like the FX4 Off-Road Package help push the truck story further. Ford may be testing a common truck component for the Maverick. Pickup toppers are a tradition that has been around for many decades. This short video by 80sAirwaves, on YouTube, shows one mounted on the back of a Maverick MaverickXLT. The video is a compilation of three photos that show the truck from the driver’s perspective. We don’t have any context. Although we are unsure if this is a Ford-produced cap, or an aftermarket product, the Maverick’s bed size allows us to say that it is not a generic topper.
It also looks strange, if you’re being honest. The entire cap is just a little higher than the roof and almost all sides are windows. It doesn’t look bad, and many standard pickup toppers are higher than the cab. We can see the logic behind it. It allows for more cargo space in the interior, which is ideal for the Maverick’s 4.5-footbed. We find this cap a little awkward.

Although the Maverick will not be available in dealerships until fall 2010, Ford offers all types of bed accessories via its official Maverick configurator. You have many options for bed liners, hard and soft tonneau covers, and bed dividers. This is one area where the Maverick dominates Santa Cruz. The Santa Cruz has a smaller bed, so the Maverick takes up more space. We don’t find any mention of a bed topper in the Maverick configurator. It’s not at least yet. Compact truck buyers will be interested in a topper. It will be fascinating to see how the market reacts between the traditional Santa Cruz and the Maverick.
