2023 Mitsubishi L200 – According to the latest news, the refreshed Mitsubishi L200 2023 is set to arrive next year. The Mitsubishi pickup truck has been around since 2015 and may finally be getting the redesign it deserves. It’s not surprising that Mitsubishi will launch a new pickup truck to address the growing demand for pickup trucks. The new truck’s overall design will be more appealing and the manufacturer will add some unique aesthetics. We don’t know much about the powertrain but many believe it will use the same PHEV as the Outlander SUV. This is all we know.
2023 Mitsubishi L200 New Design
This truck will be more competitive with the 2023 Mitsubishi L200 design. The new model, thanks to Mitsubishi and Renault Nissan Alliance will likely ride on the platform that allows for some electrification. The Mitsubishi L200 will likely grow in size, so we expect a new chassis and a custom-made suspension. While the overall truck shape would remain the same, the front end would get the same grille as the Outlander’s lightning.
The new interior of the 2023 Mitsubishi L200 is brand new. We can expect many similarities to the Outlander PHEV model. The manufacturer intends to make the cabin more luxurious by adding nicer materials and tech. The seats will be more comfortable and supportive. We expect a touchscreen size of no less than 8 inches for the infotainment system. Standard features include Bluetooth, USB port, satellite radio, Bluetooth, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, and a 6-speaker audio setup. The L200 also offers safety features. The L200 includes a forward collision warning with automatic emergency brake and pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with lane changing assistance, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane-departure warning.
Mitsubishi has not yet revealed any details about the new L200 truck’s engine. Many believe the truck will be powered by some electrifications. The plug-in hybrid configuration also found in the OutlanderPHEV model is closest to the final result. This configuration includes a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine and two electric motors. It also has a great lithium-ion battery. The total system output is 221 horsepower and the model comes standard with four wheels. Mitsubishi claims that the Outlander can run up to 24 miles on its battery-powered system. It takes approximately eight hours to recharge the battery using a 120-volt domestic outlet. The time it takes to charge the battery with a 240 volt supply is half that. The DC fast-charging station can also charge your device in under 30 minutes.
