2024 Mercedes-Benz e-Actros Long-Haul – Two new Daimler projects were just announced by Daimler: a new hydrogen fuel-cell truck concept and the long-range, all-electric Mercedes-Benz e-Actros LONGHaul, both based on the Mercedes-Benz e-Actros.

2024 Mercedes-Benz e-Actros Long-Haul Review
The standard eActros will be used for urban distribution purposes and will be available in 2021 with a range of 200 km (124 mi). However, the new eActros LongHaul can be used for energy-efficient transport along plannable long-haul routes of up to 500km (311 miles). The German company claims that it will be ready for serial production by 2024 as one of its multiple solutions. The Mercedes-Benz EActros LongHaul is more elegant and sleek than traditional diesel trucks. Daimler’s global approach means that all brands (including Freightliner, Fuso) will use in their EVs a uniform “ePowertrain” architecture.

Powertrain
According to the company, the technological heart of ePowertrain’s technology is the in-house designed e-Drive unit. This is an axle that has one or more integrated motors and transmission.

2024 Mercedes-Benz e-Actros Long-Haul Released
We should see the Tesla Semi competing in some way. Daimler should be ready to enter the market by the end of 2021. This is especially true if Tesla plans to use their time to set up Megachargers.
