2025 Maxus Electric Pickup Truck – A Maxus electric pickup truck has been put on sale in China, as America waits for the Ford F-150 Lightning in mid-2022 and the Chevrolet Silverado Electric in 2022. It is the Maxus T90 pure electric version.
2025 Maxus Electric Pickup Truck Review
Although the production Maxus New EV concept is less striking, it still has a typical Chinese design. Front end features larger headlamps as well as a redesigned grille and bumpers. The large, chrome-colored brand letters at the back of the concept and the roof box didn’t make it into production. The powertrain is indicated by a small EV badge with the letter E painted metallic blue. The design of the electric version is the same as that of the ICE variant. This is to reduce manufacturing costs and allow for minor changes in styling and badges.
Design and Features
Although the Maxus T90 electric pickup truck has a striking front, it is not too aggressive for European customers. However, this is common in Chinese SUVs or pickup trucks. It has a massive grille that covers almost all of its face, extremely thin headlights, and a large brand logo. There are loads of reflective applications, which will need to be toned down when the truck leaves for overseas assignments. The new Maxus electric pickup truck is traditional from the sides thanks to its conventional proportions. The truck’s high ground clearance makes it sporty. It also has rugged, square-shaped fenders and chunky sports bars that give it adventure-readiness. The design at the rear is largely traditional. Combination lamps appear to be connected by a reflector strip. The huge brand logo is engraved on the tailgate, making it a prominent road presence wherever the vehicle goes.
The Maxus T90’s new generation features a luxurious cabin with a modern design and layout. The dashboard is smaller than traditional pickup trucks and the floor console is smaller. This gives you more storage space as well as more room for passengers. The dashboard is a seamless one-piece panel that houses a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment screen. It has a minimalist look. You’ll also see an electronic gearshift lever if you look closely. The electric variant does not have all of the features available for the ICE variant. According to saicmaxus.com’s listing, the electric variant features a 7.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit instead of a 12.25-inch unit. The 10.25-inch virtual instrument cluster also isn’t available.
The Maxus electric pickup truck does not have a performance focus. Standard equipment includes an 88.55kWh battery pack, which gives you a range of 535 km (or 332 miles).
